The 35 acre property is largely undeveloped, and great to explore, but please take the appropriate precautions when venturing off the beaten path. There are cacti that frequent the area, listen for possible rattle snakes, there will be bear spray available if desired for people to go on hikes, and boots or hiking shoes are highly recommended. I also bring my slippers and flip flops too for when I stay on the path, but if you want to venture off, I would be prepared with good footwear and pants.
Is there Power, Water & Bathroom/Handwashing Facilities on the property?
Yes, we have a strong producing well, that we have good filtration equipment for, for drinking water or to even cool off in the sun. We will provide porta potties as well as hand washing stations. There is also power located on the property near the common/stage area, but not near camping areas...
Is There Accessible Parking At The Event?
There is a limited number of Handicap Parking spots near the event area. Handicap Tags Must Be Displayed
Are RV's & Camper Vans Allowed?
Yes, but RV's & camper vans require their camping pass(es) an additional RV/Van Pass. There are a limited number of RV/Van passes, and THEY WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE EVENT! You must secure your RV/Van Pass BEFORE THE EVENT. AND please email travis@boogieonthehill.com with your RV's information!
What Is The Terrain Like On The Property?
"The Hill" and property are up on Blue Mountain, and even boasts its own mini-mountain with spectacular views! Paths and driveways to take you where you need to go, but if you plan to trek off the beaten path for disc golf or hiking, we recommend wearing proper hiking shoes & tall socks...
Is SMOKING Allowed On The Property?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! The fire danger up there is VERY EXTREME during the summer. THERE ARE NO WOOD FIRES OF ANY KIND, & please only smoke in rock covered areas & areas entirely clear of brush and grasses. ALSO dispose of your butts properly! YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE FOR VIOLATING THIS POLICY!
Are PROPANE fire pits allowed on the property?
YES! Please still be careful, but propane/camping fire pits are allowed & fire pits will be provided in the common areas as well. BUT NO WOOD BURNING FIRES PLEASE :-)
Is there cell phone reception on the property?
There is 'some' reception in 'certain' areas on the property with AT&T & most major carriers. BUT, we do have wifi on the property that you can use to communicate with the real world if need be ;-) It is located near the sheds if you need reception.
Will there be drinks available for purchase?
No. The event is BYOB, and age will be verified upon entry to the event. Underage drinkers will be asked to leave the event.
What Wildlife May We Encounter?
The area hosts many deer and elk, wild turkeys and many other mountain wildlife. Please, as always in Colorado, be BEAR & RATTLESNAKE AWARE. But we have never had any encounters with either yet.
Are Passes Available For The Min. Donation At The Gate?
This will be dependent on if the event has sold out or not. It is possible that you will not be able to make your donations to the event at the gate, so please secure your passes early and avoid being turned away. There will also be a discounted "Pre-Sale/Min. Donation" available.
Do People With RV Passes, RV/Tent Pads Require Camping Passes In Addition To The RV Pass or Tent/RV Pad Passes?
Yes, if you are camping on the property in any way, you will be required to have a camping pass. RV Passes are in addition to the camping pass, and both are separate from your event pass.
Are Tickets Sold For BoogieOnTheHill?
All tickets are donation based with minimum donation requirements. All proceeds go to the event, the musicians and the continued development of the property. We appreciate your contributions :-)
How Do I Reserve An Excavated Tent Pad?
Tent Pads will be on a reservation system, & are fully separate from your required camping and event pass. Tent pads will be priced according to size and tent capacity, and will be reserved separately through Travis. Email him at travis@boogieonthehill.com. A map will be on the website soon!
Is There Car/Van Camping At The Event?
Car and Van camping is allowed at the event, and please use available camping areas wisely, such that space is optimized :-)
Where Can We Park Our Cars?
Cars that aren't being camped "in" can be parked in one of the lower areas on the property, and will have a mild walk to the camping areas depending on where you set up. There is no fee for parking! :-). But DO NOT PARK in areas that could be used for camping. Parking at your tent is not allowed.
Are Passes Available For Required Min. Donations WITHOUT FEES?
Yes, please reach out to Travis Dennis at travis@boogieonthehill.com to arrange making your min. donations without the online ticketing fees. Cash, Venmo & PayPal are accepted by Travis.
