Chris Thompson is a Colorado-based singer/songwriter and founding member of Americana/Jamgrass bands CORAL CREEK, RUM CREEK, and Uptown Toodeloo String Band, a Grateful Dead tribute. With productions from newgrass icons Bill Nershi of String Cheese Incident and Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth, Thompson delivers a diverse repertoire of original music that spans rock, country-bluegrass, blues, folk, and island music, while engaging audiences with beloved classics from the Grateful Dead, The Band, CSN, Neil Young, Jimmy Cliff, and more. On the grassier side, he riffs on traditional fiddle tunes and bluegrass standards from legends like Bill Monroe and Sam Bush. 

Thompson has released six albums of original music, receiving airplay across the US, UK, and Europe; Free Dog (2018), Coral Creek (2015), Forty Years (2012), Watch Me Fly (2012 - w/Susannah), The Road Ahead (2010), and Livin On Vacation (2007 - w/Susannah). He has performed at diverse venues including campgrounds, beach bars, concert halls, and music festivals like Boogie On The Hill, sharing the stage with music heroes such as Peter Rowan, Sam Bush, and many others in the newgrass/jamband scene. A Colorado native, Trevor Jones has been playing music around the country for 15 years. Passionate about funk, soul, and the sounds of New Orleans, Trevor co-founded Frogs Gone Fishin' in 2005 and now leads the 7-piece Trevor Jones Band. He offers a fabulous mix of original songs alongside well-known and some lesser-known 'all-time great' tracks that span multiple genres and musical generations.

On a more personal note, Lisa and I first caught Frogs Gone Fishin' at Cervantes in Denver, CO, probably over a decade ago, and instantly connected with Trevor and his music. I also believe that Trevor Jones has performed at every event I’ve hosted here in CO, making it an honor to have him join us again for his solo set during the Boogie On The Hill event, with live music festival vibes on Saturday Night 8/5! It was two years ago that Victor Towle and Mark Henry Ham combined their musical talents to create On The Flip Side. Performing all over Colorado as either an acoustic duo or a full band depending on the venue, they have recently welcomed Dustin Tracy as their go-to drummer! He adds fantastic drive and a solid backbeat to their sound. Showcasing their individual styles, their collaboration ensures that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. They cover a wide range of musical influences, making their brand of rock music uniquely entertaining—a perfect fit for events like Boogie On The Hill.

Over his career, Victor has transformed into an extraordinary singer-songwriter whose music is as eclectic as it is soulful. This is not surprising, given his early influences including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Jeff Beck, and the Grateful Dead. Victor has skillfully blended his guitar and harmonica playing into a rich mix of jazz, rock and roll, soul, gospel, and rhythm and blues. His powerful guitar style melds these influences while performing original songs and a variety of cover tunes. Victor’s rich and dynamic vocals have drawn comparisons to renowned artists like John Hyatt and Jackson Browne.

Mark has been performing and writing songs for years, with his music spanning multiple genres from Acoustic and Americana to Country, Rock, and Pop. With a vocal range similar to Roy Orbison and Chris Isaak, he excels at creating close-knit harmonies. Mark’s captivating vocals, rhythm guitar, and harmonica work add energy and emotion to every performance, making their shows highly sought after for live music festivals.

A seasoned musician with 30 years of experience, Dustin blends various styles and tailors captivating beats to elevate the band's performances! He also sings, writes, and plays guitar, with a passion for original music. Dustin loves to play covers steeped in a rich background of Classic Rock, Prog, Blues, Jazz, and everything in between. Known for his funky backbeats and positive energy on stage, he's an essential part of the band's appeal, especially for those looking for exciting event tickets.
