Chris Thompson is a Colorado-based singer/songwriter and founding member of Americana/Jamgrass bands CORAL CREEK, RUM CREEK and Uptown Toodeloo String Band (a Grateful Dead tribute).  Produced by newgrass greats, Bill Nershi (of String Cheese Incident) and Tim Carbone (of Railroad Earth), Thompson performs a diverse repertoire of original music spanning the genres of rock, country-bluegrass, blues, folk and island music, while engaging audiences with time-tested favorites from the Grateful Dead, The Band, CSN, Neil Young, Jimmy Cliff and more.  On the grassier side, Thompson will riff on traditional fiddle tunes and bluegrass classics from the likes of Bill Monroe, Peter Rowan and Sam Bush.

A Colorado native, Trevor Jones has been playing music around the country for 15 years. Passionate about funk, soul, and the music of New Orleans, Trevor co-founded Frogs Gone Fishin' in 2005 and now fronts the 7-piece Trevor Jones Band.   He combines a fabulous mix of original songs, along with well known, and some more hidden, "all time great" songs, that span multiple genres and musical generations.   

On a more personal note, Lisa & I first caught Frogs Gone Fishing' at Cervantes in Denver, CO now probably over a decade ago, and instantly connected with Trevor and his music.  I also believe that Trevor Jones has performed for me every event that I have ever hosted here in CO, so it is an honor to have him, once again, on a solo set on Saturday Night 8/5!!!

“On The Flip Side”

It was two years ago Victor Towle and Mark Henry Ham combined their talents to create On The Flip Side. They perform all over Colorado as an acoustic duo or full band depending upon the stage.  They have recently added Dustin Tracy as their go to drummer!  He adds a fantastic drive and back beat!  Their individual styles are showcased and come together, so that the whole, is greater than the parts!  They cover a wide range of musical influences that makes their brand of rock music very unique and entertaining.

Lead, Rhythm Guitar, and Vocals, Victor Towle

Over his career, Victor has transformed himself into an extraordinary singer songwriter whose music is as eclectic as it is soulful. This is not surprising given his early influences including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Jeff Beck and the Grateful Dead. Victor has artfully crafted his guitar and harmonica playing into a perfect blend of jazz, rock and roll, soul, gospel and rhythm and blues. His guitar style incorporates a powerful, signature melding of these influences while performing his original songs and a variety of cover tunes. Victor’s rich and dynamic vocal sound has been compared to many, including John Hyatt and Jackson Brown. 

Rhythm Guitar and Vocals, Mark Henry Ham

Mark has been performing and songwriting for years with his music covering multiple genres from Acoustic, Americana, Country, Rock to Pop. His vocal range is similar to Roy Orbinson/Chris Isaak and he prides himself on creating close-knit harmonies.  Mark’s vocals, rhythm guitar, and harmonica playing brings energy and emotion to the stage!

Drummer and Percussionist, Dustin Tracy

A seasoned musician of 30 years. Dustin blends many styles, and tailors tasty beats seamlessly to elevate, and accompany the band!  Dustin sings, writes and plays guitar as well.  Originals are his passion, and he also loves playing covers steeped in a rich background of Classic Rock, Prog, Blues, Jazz and everything in between.  Dustin is known for his funky backbeats and positive energy on stage.
